The following options are available to optimize the UltiBurr™ Compliant Deburring Tool for your particular environment or application:

Filter-Regulator-Oil Trap Assemblies
In order to assure optimal spindle life, the compressed air used to power the UltiBurr™ Compliant Deburring Tool must be clean and dry. Air filtered through at least a 5+ micron filter and a coalescing filter (to ensure oil extraction near the motor) is recommended (standard filters will not take out all contaminants such as oil, mist, water, or fine particles).

Coolant Guards
A coolant guard is available to prevent coolant or other liquid from penetrating into the deburring tool end of the UltiBurr™ and for use in applications where liquids are present.

Multiple Spindle Lengths
Longer spindles for RAD's UltiBurr™ Deburring Tool models are available upon request.

Motor Size Options
RAD's UltiBurr™ Compliant Deburring Tools can be fitted with several different size motors to meet the unique needs of your application.

Collet Size Options
RAD's Compliant UltiBurr™ Deburring Tools can be fitted with a 1/8", 3mm, 6mm, or 8mm collet should it be desirable. The unit comes with a standard 0.25" collet.

Adapter Plates
Plates used to connect the UltiBurr™ Compliant Deburring Tool to the robot* are available to help you easily install your new deburring unit.

Collision Sensors
RAD's Collision Sensors stop the robot and protect your valuable tooling in the event of a collision.

Robotic Tool Changers
Automatic Robotic Tool Changers allow you to maximize the productivity of your robot by enabling it to perform multiple operations without human intervention.

 

* The UltiBurr™ compliant deburring tool can be used on a robotic arm, CNC holder or hard mounted to any surface.
