Information applies to models P-7700, P-7800, P-7900 and P-7900-S, also known as Miniature Grippers. This product cannot be sold outside of the United States.
 
RAD's Miniature Pneumatic Parallel Gripper is designed for general-purpose use but, due to its machine tool quality, works particularly well in harsh environments (for example die casting, forging, and other tortuous environments).
 
RAD's Miniature Parallel Gripper offers:
  • 2 jaw parallel motion
  • accuracy - utilizes independent force and synchronization systems to assure precision
  • 4 gripper style options (synchronous, non-synchronous, sequenced & quad-ported)*
  • a typical 10 million+ cycle life
  • stroke lengths of 0.20 in. (5.1 mm) to 2.00 in. (50.8 mm)
Operating Principle
RAD's Miniature Pneumatic Gripper operates through two independent systems - the gripping force is provided through two pneumatic pistons and the synchronization is provided through a double helix that centers the part to ±0.0010" (±0.025 mm).**
